About these terms

These terms apply when you order food or catering from Mulkanwan ("we", "us", "our"), a café, takeaway and catering business at 144 Nelson Street, Tradeston, Glasgow, G5 8EJ. By placing an order with us — in store, by phone or online — you agree to these terms. Please read them alongside our allergen advice and deliveries & collections information.

Orders & availability

All orders are subject to availability. We may decline or cancel an order — for example if an item has sold out, if we're unable to meet a requested time, or if we're closed. Menu items, ingredients and prices can change without notice.

Prices & payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling. Where pricing appears on this website it is for guidance, and the price confirmed at the time of ordering applies. Payment is taken at the point of sale, or as agreed for catering bookings.

Collection & delivery

You can collect orders from our Tradeston premises, and local delivery may be available. Delivery areas, timings, minimum orders and fees are described on our deliveries & collections page. Estimated times are not guaranteed and may vary during busy periods.

Allergens & food safety

If you have a food allergy or intolerance, you must tell us before ordering. We prepare food in a kitchen that handles many allergens and cannot guarantee any dish is free from a particular allergen. Please read our allergen advice in full — the responsibility for checking suitability rests with you.

Cancellations, changes & refunds

For everyday orders, please contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel. As food is prepared fresh to order, we may be unable to refund items once preparation has begun. If something isn't right with your order, let us know promptly and we'll do our best to put it right.

Catering bookings

Catering orders are arranged in advance and may require a deposit and a minimum lead time. Final guest numbers and dietary requirements should be confirmed by the date we agree with you. Cancellations close to the event date may be subject to a charge to cover ingredients and preparation already committed.

Your responsibilities

Please give accurate order, contact and delivery details, collect or be available to receive orders at the agreed time, and tell us about any allergies or dietary needs. Food is intended to be enjoyed promptly and stored appropriately after purchase.

Liability

We take great care preparing your food. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable or that arise from circumstances outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, and your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

Privacy

We use the details you provide only to take and fulfil your order and, where you've asked, to send occasional updates. You can ask to be removed from our mailing list at any time by contacting us.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published here applies to orders placed after it is posted.
